Our story
Founded by editors, built by engineers.
Digital Draft began in 2019 when a small team of editors and book designers left traditional publishing to help independent authors produce books to the same standard as the big houses.
We quickly learned the hardest part wasn't editing or design — it was everything after: ISBNs, print specifications, eBook conversion, retailer metadata and royalty reporting. So we built a platform to handle it.
Today, more than 12,000 authors use Digital Draft to publish in print and digital formats, with a production team that still reviews every book by hand.
